Quebec

High School French taught me a couple of things.

  1. How to order a coffee and say please and thank you.
  2. That French Canadian isn’t real French, and the French French will constantly let you know.

I spent limited time in Quebec but these are the few things I did.

Montreal

I’m not a massive city person so I almost drove straight through Montreal, but I’m glad I stopped.

  • Check out the old part of town
  • Walk or run around Mont Royal Park17467787_10212356227764473_300022880_n

I had a really fantastic couchsurfing experience in Montreal. Beautiful people who went out of their way to make me feel welcome.

Quebec City

Quebec City is a really beautiful place. I wouldn’t recommend trying to find somewhere to park within the city limits as it all costs one arm and one leg but it’s really lovely to walk around. It has an incredibly European feel (much like Montreal).
